I heard on the news last night that a Judge has ruled U.S. currency must be printed in a fashion so that the visualy impaired can distinquish between the denominations. Suggestions included different size bills for each denomination or Brail.

They make good experience with the value in brail on the euro notes over here. It is said to be very well "readable" for blind people, and they use it as an additional security feature.

Wouldnt the brail knobs (bumps) become flatten after extended use?
