Who is your choice for the Heisman? Here is a list of candidates I think have a legitimate chance; but it's all mute because Troy Smith will wrap it up without question.

Troy Smith-QB
School: Ohio State
Class: Senior
Ht: 6-1 Wt: 215
Comment: The only chance Troy Smith didnn't win the Heisman is if Brady Quinn had a record-breaking day against USC -- and that didn't happen. There are a few running backs out there that could ruin the day, but for the most part, Smith should start practicing that acceptance speech.
Michael Hart-RB
School: Michigan
Class: Junior
Ht: 5-9 Wt: 198
Comment: Hart might have been helped in the Heisman race by not even playing. Ray Rice and Steve Slaton didn't have very memorable performances this week, which might improve the stock of Michael Hart.
Brady Quinn-QB
School: Notre Dame
Class: Senior
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 232
Comment: Did Brady Quinn do anything to help his causes against Southern California? Not really. Did he hurt it? Probably not. Quinn will most definitely get an invite to New York, but he basically has zero chance to win the award.
Ray Rice-RB
School: Rutgers
Class: Sophomore
Ht: 5-9 Wt: 195
Comment: Rice is one of the best running backs in the nation, but his stock is slipping. The past two weeks he hasn't done anything spectacular, but will get one more chance this week. If Rutgers beats West Virginia, it wins the Big East.
Steve Slaton-RB
School: West Virginia
Class: Sophomore
Ht: 5-10 Wt: 185
Comment: Slaton is the nation's second-leading rusher in yards per game, but is another player that has seen his stock slip. He fumbled twice in the loss to Louisville and now rushed for just 43 yards in the loss to South Florida this past week. He needs a huge performance this week to get an invite to New York.
Colt Brennan-QB
School: Hawaii
Class: Junior
Ht: 6-3 Wt: 190
Comment: Did Colt Brennan just complete his Heisman moment? He threw three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help Hawaii beat Purdue last week and now has 51 touchdowns on the season. He is closing in on 5,000 yards passing and needs four touchdowns to break the single-season touchdown record of 54.
